Finland Walkaway at Aittakuru gorge, Pyhä-Luosto National Park

The wooden walkway at the entrance to Aittakuru Gorge offers a beautiful introduction to one of the most impressive natural formations in Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Surrounded by dense forests and steep rocky walls, the path leads visitors towards the dramatic gorge. Especially on moody autumn days, the combination of wooden structures, colourful foliage and rugged scenery creates a unique atmosphere.

Use the wooden walkway as a leading line to guide the viewer's eye into the image and towards the entrance of the gorge.

As an extra you can position yourself or a person centrally to create a symmetrical composition, emphasizing the perspective and depth of the path. A wide-angle lens works particularly well here to capture both the walkway and the surrounding forest.

Aittakuru is accessible on foot via marked hiking trails in Pyhä-Luosto National Park. From the nearest parking area, follow the signs towards Aittakuru and continue along the forest trail to the wooden walkway. The hike takes you through beautiful woodland, so allow some extra time to enjoy the surroundings.
