A drone is definitely the best way to capture the beautiful curves of the Kuusinkijoki River. Position your drone at a slightly downward-facing angle to emphasize the winding river and use its natural S-shaped curves as leading lines through the composition.
For this particular shot, I chose an elevated perspective to include several river bends and the surrounding autumn forest. Late afternoon and golden hour work particularly well, as the warm sunlight illuminates the yellow foliage while the river remains relatively dark.
