Another good spot for taking pics of blossoming lavender is on the side track from Valensole to Mas Andrieux. This spot is particularly nice if you arrive before sunset.

Photography Tips

Ideally use a triop as the lavender field is very deep here and you might need more that one shot to cover the depth, avoiding very narrow apertures which will introduce artifacts and diffraction blur.

Travel Information

Easy parking on the roadside. You are possibly alone around sunset as this is one of the spots much less known to tourists.
