This ancient village with its impressive watch tower spaces well from the rolling hills in the background - particulary as remians from a thunderstorm were clearing off the background.

Photography Tips

I used a 135 mm Tele lens to separate VG and BG.

Travel Information

Some roadside parking at Sigale, tourists are very rare in this area. Don't miss to drive / walk through the Clue d'Aiglun just SW of the village- scary but fantastic Gorge. Do not take your car there if you are not able to reverse fro some 100 meters on a SINGLE TRACK road, only about 2,5m wide and carved into the hanging rocks over the Gorge.
