Îlot Tison is a picnic spot full of greenery and water flowing, a must to visit. I recommend it to be the best place for refreshing in Poitier and in fact close to city center of Poitier, Just climb the stairs up and in no time you will be near PARC blossac, just walk a little more and you will be in city center of Poitier

Photography Tips

Use a tripod and ND filter to capture the river stream. The bridge vibrates when someone walks hence early morning shots are more preferred. Use of remote and tripod is a must. Sunrise shot is good as during sunset you cannot capture colors in stream

Yes parking is available and abundant space to sit and relax, It is just 10 minutes from train station of Poitier and 5 minutes from city center of Poitier. Remember if you are at PARC blossac then just get down from stairs and it will be perfect.
