France Beach at Wissant
Great beach to photograph.
Wissant (from Dutch Witzand, meaning "white sand") is nestled between two dramatic headlands—Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez—which are part of the protected Grand Site National des Deux Caps. The beach stretches over 12 kilometers and is known for its fine, flat sands and expansive tidal range.
The town lies about 18 km north of Boulogne-sur-Mer and 16 km southwest of Calais, making it easily accessible for visitors from the UK via the Channel Tunnel or ferry.

Photography Tips
In summer, it can get crowded.
At the beach, a lot of subjects can be incorporated in the photo to serve as a foreground interest. Use rocks, driftwood, dune grasses, or mussel poles to add depth to the photo.
The flobarts - traditional local fishing boats - add local character and storytelling to your image.
At low tide, the wet sand creates mirror-like surfaces, allowing you to play with reflections and create symmetric or abstract shots.
Frame shots with the dramatic cliffs of Cap Blanc-Nez or Cap Gris-Nez in the background result in great landscape photos showing a lot of scale.
As everywhere on a beach, the use of a tripod combined with ND filters is great to make long exposure images.
