Socoa fort is an ancient military fortress near Socoa harbour in the french "Pays Basque". It is located above a rocky beach where rocks draw leading lines converging towards the construction.
Photography Tips
Bring a tripod and a wide angle lens to take advantage of the leading lines. Come at sunset and avoid summer evening and spring week-ends, as Socoa may be over crowded.
Travel Information
Come by car and park anywhere in Socoa, then walk 5 to 10 minutes. Be careful, the access to the beach may be forbidden at some times.
