A small flock of flamingos fly over the saltworks close to Aigues-Mortes.

Photography Tips

There are a lot of flamingos in the area. Don't disturb them and fly high enough. The salt lakes are not in controlled airspace so you can fly up to 120m. You are very close to restricted airspace though, so stay above the lakes.

Note: the original color of the salt lake is pink/red. My color edit is pretty different from the original colours.

Travel Information

Free parking is not easy. Your best bet is to park on the side of the road, but it's a bit of a gray area.
There are paid parking lots all around Aigues-Mortes where you can park easily.
