The Old Stone House in Fields of Lavender France

When you plan your trip to Saignon there are three must have shots; this is the third. After finishing with your sunflower shot, walk 100m west to find this beautiful old stone house to serve as a mid-ground for your lavender fields.

I have visited this spot in July 2018 and the lavender field is not anymore present. It's now a wheat field. But a good location even without lavender field.

Thank you for your kind comments Stefan. I took this shot on July 17th which was a typical time. I went a little later than some go to try and coincide the sunflowers also being mature. Good luck.

Beautiful pictures. When have you been there? Was it in end of June or beginning of July? That would help me to decide if my trip is worth a drive.
