France La tour Malakoff
The Malakoff Tower is an octagonal, crenellated tower situated on a hill overlooking the village of Sermizelles.
It was built in 1858 at the initiative of the parish priest of Sermizelles, Father Plagnard. He wanted to honor and thank the Virgin Mary for watching over the children of the town who were part of the French troops fighting in the Crimean War.
