There are many of these rivers on the Aubrac plateau, so check out different locations. You might need a polarizer to avoid sun reflections during daytime, but if you aim for blue hour/golden hour you won't need it.

Follow the parking spot GPS, but basically you can park anywhere on the side of the road as long as you don't disturb traffic. You don't need a 4x4 to drive around the Aubrac region, most of the roads are paved and well-maintained. Be careful in winter as some roads can be slippery, it's mandatory to have snow tyre to drive around in winter.
