France Unnamed buron
A buron is a stone building, roofed with slate or stone tiles, found in the “mountains”—high-altitude pastures owned and used seasonally by valley farmers in the Cantal, Aubrac, Cézallier, Margeride, and Mont Dore mountain ranges. Many have been converted into restaurants today and welcome hikers and tourists, but others are still inhabited.
These two are still habitated so you need to ask the permission to the owner for taking photos. In spring and summer, they are mostly around the houses or in the fields nearby.

Photography Tips
Aim for golden hour, especially sunset, to get a beautiful light on the farmhouses.
Travel Information
Follow the parking spot GPS. You don't need a 4x4 to drive around the Aubrac region, most of the roads are paved and well-maintained. In winter you need snow tires, it's mandatory.
