The Régulus Caves are a collection of cave dwellings carved out of natural cavities over the centuries.
These natural cavities, formed by the dissolution of limestone and enlarged over the centuries by human activity, served for centuries as dwellings or refuges. Prehistoric people lived there; later, the destitute made their homes there.
