France Valmy Castle
Valmy Castle is an Art Nouveau-style castle, typical of the Belle Époque, built on the hills above Argelès in the Pyrénées-Orientales. It dates back to 1888 and today serves as a winery and bed-and-breakfast.

Come early to avoid tourists and harsh light. Depending on the season, the fountains might be empty (usually full in spring)
Travel Information
From Perpignan, take the D914 road south toward Argelès-sur-Mer. Stay on the D914 until the Argelès exit, then follow the signs for “Château de Valmy” or “Valmy.” Drive uphill through the vineyards until you arrive at the château and its gardens. The trip takes about 30 minutes by car.
