Cap Béar is a unique historical and natural site, perfect for hiking, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. There is a lighthouse at the tip of the cape.

Photography Tips

Bring a wide angle lens to get a cool foreground with the little paths or flowers. Aim for golden hour to get a nice light. Be careful with the wind as it can be very strong.

Travel Information

From Perpignan, take the D914 road south toward Collioure and Port-Vendres. Continue past Collioure until you reach Port-Vendres. In Port-Vendres, follow the signs for “Cap Béar” or “Phare du Cap Béar.” The road climbs along the coast and leads directly to the lighthouse area at Cap Béar. The drive usually takes about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
