France Força Real Chapel

Ermitage Força Real is a small chapel on top of a mountain near Millas, in the south of France. From the top, there is a very nice 360° view over the region.

Photography Tips

Bring everything from wide angle lens to telephoto lens. With a wide angle, you can create a panoramic shot of the weather tower, especially if you get nice conditions (epic clouds, rainbow, lightning...).

With a zoom lens, you can take close up shots of the Canigou mountain, especially around sunrise/sunset time.

Travel Information

From Perpignan, take the N116 towards Millas. Then follow the signs for Força Real and drive up the small mountain road. There is a parking area near the top and from there you can walk a few minutes to the chapel and weather tower. When walking up, turn right. Once you're at the chapel, face the weather tower.
