The viewpoint near the castle of Rodès is on the hill above the village. From there, you can see the old village, the Têt valley and the mountains, including the Canigou. The ruins of the old castle are also just nearby.

Bring a wide to medium angle lens to capture the village + the Canigou mountain.

Travel Information

From Perpignan, take the N116 towards Prades and then exit towards Rodès. Park at the GPS pin or in the village, then walk towards the spot pin. The viewpoint is reached on foot, as the castle is on the hill above the village. The road to the GPS parking pin can be rocky so a SUV/4x4 is recommended.
