France Unnamed buron
A buron is a stone building, roofed with slate or stone tiles, found in the “mountains”—high-altitude pastures owned and used seasonally by valley farmers in the Cantal, Aubrac, Cézallier, Margeride, and Mont Dore mountain ranges. Many have been converted into restaurants today and welcome hikers and tourists, but others are still inhabited.

Photography Tips
Definitely choose winter as the snow will cover the path and smoothen the landscape. Late afternoon/sunset will give the best light.
I would recommend bringing a wide to medium focal lens to capture the foreground (patterns, shapes, textures) with the snow and the buron in the distance.

Travel Information
From Mende, take the N88 towards Sévérac-d’Aveyron, then continue towards Saint-Geniez-d’Olt. From the parking pin, you need to follow the small path to the buron. If you're going in winter, the track is usually well marked as many people hike in the area, but if you're the first, you'll have to mark the path by walking in snow. It can be difficult as this area welcomes a lot of snow in winter, but it's a fantastic place. Bring headlamp as you might come back in the dark.
