Germany Monastery Reutberg

The Kloster Reutberg is a Franciscan nunnery founded in 1618 near Sachsenkam, Bavaria. Perched above the Kirchsee, it combines baroque architecture with a tranquil spirit. Here you’ll also find one of Germany’s historic monastic breweries and a peaceful beer garden with Alpine views. The convent hosts a rare original marble pharmacy and a revered statue of the "Reutberger Christkind." After extensive renovation, its restored church was rededicated in June 2025.

This monastery and the small lake Kirchsee are nice viewpoints. You'd better use filters, but the clouds. When I was there, there was only a puddle of clouds.
