The Geltinger Birk is a worthwhile destination for photographers all year round. The Charlotte mill is particularly beautiful at sunset or as the foreground for a starry sky.

The Geltinger Birk lies directly on the Danish border on the southern side of the Flensburg Fjord. There is a car park in the immediate vicinity of the mill (see map).
