Das ehemalige Geländer der Gutehoffnungshütte in Oberhausen wurde zur "Neuen Mitte Oberhausen", einem Freizeit- und Einkaufszentrum besser unter dem Namen "Centro" bekannt, umgestaltet. Die Haltestelle erhilt 1998 den Preis des Deutschen Stahlbaus.
