Eberbach Abbey (German: Kloster Eberbach) is a former Cistercian monastery near Eltville am Rhein. It is considered one of the most significant architectural heritage sites in Hesse, Germany. Some scenes of movie "The Name of the Rose" with Sean Connery were filmed here. Eberbach Abbey is also famous for it´s great white wines.
