Germany Ostertal Tobel
The Ostertaltobel is a scenic gorge located in the Gunzesried Valley in the Oberallgäu region. Over thousands of years, the Ostertal stream has carved a deep, rocky ravine featuring waterfalls and swirling pools. The hiking trail through the gorge offers beautiful natural views and opportunities to enjoy the water, but it can be slippery and is not suitable for strollers. The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and ends at Buhls Alpe, where visitors can rest and eat. The trail is closed from November to mid-May due to rockfall risk.
