Another beautiful lake with crystal clear waters in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Landkreis is the Eibsee, located right at the foot of the Zugspitze.
My first shot here was at sunset, I just managed to take two more shots, because shortly afterwards a really impressive storm came down, I had just arrived in time in my car .

Photography Tips

Depending on the day all hours can be good, to avoid crowds however it is preferable to come in the morning or evening. The tripod should not be missing, wide-angle or even a telephoto polarizer and nd filters too.

Travel Information

Parking is located just before the lake, at a cost of 2 euros in the morning before 9am, otherwise 5 euros all day.
