Germany Lighthouse Bastorf

Lighthouse Bastorf is located close to Bastorf near Kühlungsborn at the shore of the baltic sea. The lighthouse itself is one of the smallest in Germany and has a height of 20,8m. However it’s located on the small hill “Bastorfer Signalberg”, which makes it Germanies second highes lightfire above sealevel (95,3m). Locals, which I meet during shooting, told me that this lighthouse is the only one in Germany which emits light in two colours. The white light is for orientation on the baltic sea, the red light warns of the sandbank “Hannibal”. The red light is from this position invisible.
