Germany Garden Tower, Frankfurt am Main
The Garden Towers are better known to many people in Frankfurt as the former high-rise of the Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba). After all, “Tower 1” was one of the first skyscrapers in Frankfurt’s banking district, featuring an unusual octagonal floor plan. The building served as a bank headquarters until the completion of the Main Tower in 1999.
Between 2003 and 2005, the building underwent extensive renovation and modernization. Today, there are two towers (25 and 14 floors), a new full-glass façade with insulated glazing, and 12 two-story winter gardens covering a total area of around 430 square meters. The foyer also reflects the comprehensive overall design concept. During the renovation, a design and material concep, particularly using color accents, natural stone, and wooden floorboards was implemented to create a unified, high-quality appearance.

Photography Tips
On the facade, there is a warning light, arguably the most famous light in Frankfurt. It is very appealing from a photographic perspective.
