Schwanenteich is a small park and lake in Giessen. It is located near the technical university. It is great for relaxation and for photography of nature like birds or flowers. E.g. a colony of herons has it´s home there in Giessen.

Photography Tips

As usual a long tele lens is recommended for birds. After changing to mirrorless my longest tele lens is 200mm on APS-C, which is a bit short. 400...600mm will be a better choice (I am waiting for the Fuji 100-400).
