Trausnitz Castle in Landshut, Bavaria, is a medieval fortress built in 1204. It was home to the Wittelsbach dukes and combines strong defensive walls with Renaissance-style courtyards and decorated halls. The castle also houses a collection of historic art and curiosities.

To reach Burg Trausnitz in Landshut, you can take bus lines 7 or 7A from Landshut Hauptbahnhof (main station) to the "Kalcherstraße" stop, which is approximately a 1 km walk to the castle. Alternatively, from March to October, buses 7 and 7A also stop at "Hofgartenparkplatz" upon request, about 800 meters from the castle. If traveling by car, there are 100 parking spaces and 4 bus parking spaces available at Hofgartenparkplatz, located near the castle.
