Germany Mauritiuskirche Burghaslach
The Mauritiuskirche is a small, old rural church. In Kirchrimbach, a district of Burghaslach, there is also a neo-Gothic church, but it is not as old as this one. The Mauritiuskirche also features half-timbered elements, which are very rare for this area.
Photography Tips
Since the Mauritiuskirche is surrounded by a ring of trees on a hill, the church offers limited perspectives for photography. The viewpoint used in the picture is the most suitable one.
Travel Information
The Mauritiuskirche is located in the middle of the Steigerwald, but close to the A3 highway. The best way to reach it is by taking the Geiselwind or Schlüsselfeld exit and then driving on some country roads. The only challenge is finding parking in the village. In case of need, you can park at the neo-Gothic Christuskirche and walk from there.
