Every year a few days prior to Chistmas the harbour police organizes an event, on which the crews of ships lying in port get a Christmas tree. A boat with Santa Claus travels through the port from ship to ship. Santa throws a tree on each ship or it is pulled on board by crane. Each time a Christmas tree lands aboard a ship the accompanying fire brigade boat "fires" all its water cannons.
