The Olympiastadion Berlin is located in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in the Westend district. It is part of the Olympic grounds (originally: Reichssportfeld) and was built from 1934 to 1936 for the Games of the XI Olympiad (1-16 August 1936) with a capacity of 100,000 spectators on the site of the former German Stadium.
