When portrait-ing, use the rocks at the shores as foreground subjects to make up a good composition. Be as early as possible or as late as possible, so you can have calm waters and freedom to shoot without people in your frame.
Travel Information
Getting there is quite easy when you have a car. Park your car at the official Eibsee parking area and then walk towards the lake. To go directly to this spot, hike the lake anti-clockwise. When you want to arrive here with public transportation, use your Deutschland ticket to take a Bus from Garmisch Partenkirchen or buy the Zugspitze ticket to ride the train that runs from Garmisch Partenkirchen.
