Germany Röthbachwasserfall
The Röthbachfall is Germany’s highest waterfall, dropping 470 meters near the Königssee. It’s best seen in spring when water flow is strongest. Visitors reach it by boat to Salet and a hike along the Obersee.
Travel Information
To reach the Röthbach Waterfall, go to Schönau am Königssee and take the electric boat to Salet. From there, hike about 3 kilometers along the Obersee to the waterfall. The boat service runs from May to mid-October.
