The Gertelbach valley is a great spot for waterfall lovers. It offers many options with different sizes of waterfalls and little wooden bridges over the small river.

Photography Tips

Tripod and ND filters of course.
Great during moody rainy days and best to be visited during weekdays. On weekends this spot is crowded.

Travel Information

Parking from two sides is available.
I recommend using the official "Gertelbach Wasserfälle Wanderparkplatz" from the lower entry point. From there you walk about 1km to the waterfalls and then you can walk uphill and choose your preferred waterfall.
Another Parking s possible at the "Eventhaus Weidenfelsen". From there you walk downhill to the waterfalls.
