Make sure to focus on the trees that get the lightest and therefore stand out the most in your photo.! Depending on your camera, focus stacking could also help to get everything sharp in contrast. Having a bokeh in the foreground is still a good idea though because it gives your image more depth and more focus towards the path itself, leading towards the background.
