Lake Geroldsee is a small lake in Karwendel mountains not far away from Garmisch-Partenkirchen in south Bavaria. It´s very beautiful.

Photography Tips

You can walk around the lake but the best spot is up the hill north of the lake. In wintertime it´s no problem but in summertime take care it´s private ground.

Travel Information

Drive to the small village of Gerold, there you find charged parking lots. Then it´s a few minutes walk to the lake.
