Germany Legal Library in the Town Hall, Munich
The Law Library is one of the most beautiful libraries in Munich. Founded in 1843, in 1906 it moved into the magnificently designed two-story reading room in the New Town Hall on Marienplatz designed by Georg von Hauberrisser.

The Legal Library in the Town Hall of Munich is a stunning Art Nouveau library from 1906, known for its spiral staircases and tall bookshelves. It is located at Marienplatz 8 and can be visited through guided tours or during opening hours. To reach it, take the U-Bahn or S-Bahn to Marienplatz station; the library is inside the New Town Hall right at the square.
