Neuschwanstein Palace (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein) is located in the state of Bavaria near Füssen (Germany). It was commissioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria in 1869. Its original name was New Hohenschwangau Palace in honor of the castle where the king spent much of his childhood.

Photography Tips

Around much of the valley surrounding the palace it is possible to get good pictures of the castle, but for this you need a lens with a focal length of at least 200mm. In my case I always carry my Sigma 100-400 and it was enough.
