Monument to the Battle of the Nations (German: Völkerschlachtdenkmal) is a monument in Leipzig, Germany, to the 1813 Battle of Leipzig, also known as the Battle of the Nations. The monument commemorates Napoleon's defeat at Leipzig, a crucial step towards the end of hostilities in the War of the Sixth Coalition, which was seen as a victory for the Germans.

Blue hour is the best time to take a photo. I was a little late yesterday evening, it was already really dark. But the good point was that there was no wind, so the monument was nicely mirrored in the lake.
