You need to walk or to cycle, if you want to explore the natural beauties of Großer and Kleiner Brombachsee near Gunzenhausen and around 50 km south of Nürnberg. The Igelsbachsee spreads like a fjord from the main lake towards the northwest.

Autumn is the best season for shootings around the Brombachsee. This foto was shot in the afternoon.

Travel Information

The spot is only accessible by car or by bicycle. Exit the B 466 from Nördlingen or Nürnberg in Gunzenhausen-Nord and follow the signs to Pleinfeld and Brombachsee. Leave the St. 2222 in Langlau and look out for the big parking capacities before or after Absberg. The rest has to be done by walking.
