The Elmptaler heath lies within a nature reservate. There are many nice spots everywhere. Late summer (August, September) is the time to go there, as there are many flowers blooming in pink and violet.

Travel Information

Take the A52 in direction Netherlands. At exit No. 2 leave the road and follow the signs to "Elmpt". There you follow the signs which lead you to the official hiking parking place.
