Germany Castle Prun, Riedenburg
Burg Prunn is a well-preserved medieval castle perched on a steep limestone cliff above the Altmühl River near Riedenburg, Bavaria. Built in the 13th century, it is famous for housing the Prunner Codex, a medieval manuscript of the Nibelungenlied. The castle is a popular spot for hikers and offers guided tours.
