The Kaiserburg in Nuremberg is a medieval imperial castle overlooking the old town. Built between the 11th and 15th centuries, it served as a residence for German kings and emperors. Highlights include the Romanesque double chapel, the Sinwell Tower with panoramic views, and the deep well. Today, it houses a museum showcasing medieval life and imperial history.

The Kaiserburg Nürnberg is best reached on foot or by public transport. From the city center or Hauptmarkt, it’s a 10–20 minute uphill walk. By U-Bahn take line U1 to Lorenzkirche or bus 36 to Burgstraße. Parking is available in nearby garages, as there is no parking at the castle itself.
