Germany Duisburg Innenhafen

Duisburg's inner harbor was one of the most important transshipment points for the timber industry, supplying the Ruhr region's coal mines. Later, numerous grain mills supplied the Ruhr region's growing population with food. At the end of the 1980s, the harbor was converted into an industrial park and now houses office buildings, restaurants, and museums.
