Germany Haus Bisping
Haus Bisping in Drensteinfurt was a so-called "table estate." It supplied the bishop's "table" with provisions. The first documented mention dates back to 1364. Around 1537, the moated castle came into the possession of the von Galen family. Christoph Bernhard von Galen, Prince-Bishop of Münster from 1650, was born at Haus Bisping in 1606. Heinrich von Galen, the bishop's brother, had the gatehouse built in 1651. The gateway was later walled up. The bay window above it bears the year 1681 and the coats of arms of the von Droste and von Galen families. After 1700, Haus Bisping was abandoned by the von Galen family. Today, only parts of the moat and the gatehouse remain of the former moated castle. Haus Bisping is privately owned and cannot be visited.
Photography Tips
When you want to create depth, take some nice leaves, flowers, etc., into your frame. To do that, open your shutter wide open and use a super wide-angle lens.
