Germany Cherry blossoms at Hamburg Binnenalster

Every spring you can take beautiful photos of cherry blossoms along the Binnenalster lake in Hamburg. The exact blooming time depends on the weather, but you can aim for end of March / beginning of April.

There are countless compositions of flowers and trees combined with Hamburg's skyline and the lake. The spot is full of general public enjoying the scenery as well as of photographers, so either come very early or be prepared to shoot amongst a crowd - which is possible, but you might need some patience to get the shots you want.

Very close to the city center. You can get there by public transport, by foot from the main train station (around 10 min walk) and you can find a lot of parking garages in the city.
