Germany Welfenmünster Steingaden interior
The former Premonstratensian collegiate church of St. John the Baptist has been the Catholic parish church of Steingaden in the district of Weilheim-Schongau in Upper Bavaria (Diocese of Augsburg) since the secularization of Steingaden Abbey. Known as the Welfenmünster, the church is a Romanesque basilica. The interior was converted to Baroque style in the 17th and 18th centuries and is now considered one of the most important sights in the Pfaffenwinkel region
