Germany Planetrium Hamburg from a Distance

There are a few days in April and August, when the sun aligns perfectly with the Planetarium in Stadtpark of Hamburg. From a distance of 1.5km you can capture an almost symmetrical shot of the Planetarium with the surrounding trees.

Bring a tripod and a telephoto lens. If the foreground becomes too crowded, because of the people walking around, try going for a silhouette shot.
It's recommended to use PhotoPills to plan the shot exactly. You can extend the shooting period by a few days by shifting your location ever so slightly to the right.
The biggest if is the weather. It has to be perfectly clear, but candy like skies are also beautiful.

There are some parking spaces near the spot and parking is allowed on the street after 19:00. If you come by car, park at Saarlandstraße, that's the nearest available parking.
