Germany Köhlbrandbrücke
On only two days in a year you have the exclusive opportunity to capture the sun between the columns of the first pylon of the famous Köhlbrandbrücke in Hamburg. The sun barley touches the bridge forming what's looking like a gate to the light.
Photography Tips
Bring a tripod, arrive early and setup your shot well before. You can play a bit with the sun in different positions, find what you like the most. Use Photocells for exact planning. If you want to capture the sun, like in my photo, the sun needs to be around 50m above the black pin.
You will need all the luck you can get with the weather if you want to capture the sun without haze.

Travel Information
A car is preferred to get to the spot. Park your car around the corner at the dead end of "Am Travehafen". From there ist just a 300m walk to the spot but be extra careful if you cross the street there are a lot of big trucks.
