If you want to photograph the blossoms of the Lüneburg Heath at sunrise with a chance of mist in the foreground and without a long walk, then this might be a good spot.

Photography Tips
The lake has a depth of only about 1,6 m warming up in the summer. If you choose a morning with low temperatures, mist over the lake is almost guaranteed. Make sure to arrive at least 45 minutes before sunrise on a side cloudy morning to capture the blue hour with nice reflections on the lake. The third picture (with the view at the pavilion) had been taken from the view spot at the north side, about 400 m further.
Travel Information
If you park at the roadside it will be only about a 5 minutes walkt to the bridge tight after the pavilion
